Our Group of companies is a family-owned Greek enterprise consisting of three pharmaceutical wholesalers strategically located across Northern Greece: Thessaloniki, Alexandroupoli, and Serres.
Vasilakos Ioannis S.A. Pharmaceutical Wholesaler was established in 1980 and operates from its privately owned 2,500 m² facilities in the Industrial Area of Oreokastro, Thessaloniki. This prime location provides immediate access to the city of Thessaloniki as well as the major transportation routes of Central Macedonia.
The company's operations and procedures fully comply with the latest European Union Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines for medicinal products for human use (Directive 2013/C 343/01) and are carried out under the supervision of the National Organization for Medicines (EOF), the Greek regulatory authority for pharmaceuticals.
In July 2015, Evropharm IKE (www.evropharm.gr) was established as a subsidiary of Vasilakos Pharmaceutical Wholesaler, with its headquarters in Alexandroupoli.
Supported by modern infrastructure, extensive expertise, and highly experienced personnel, Evropharm is fully equipped to meet the needs of pharmacies throughout the Evros and Thrace regions. The Group's strategic objective is to further strengthen its presence and play an active role in the pharmaceutical market across the wider region of Northern Greece.
At the beginning of 2018, SIRIS Pharmaceutical Wholesaler IKE commenced operations in Serres, expanding the Group's presence into Central and Eastern Macedonia, with a particular focus on the regional markets of Serres, Drama, and Kavala.
